Calm, honest care for your skin.

Selune is a doctor-led skin clinic in Port Avery. Every treatment here starts with a consultation: we look at your skin, answer your questions and agree a plan with you, or tell you when you don't need one.

Notes

Opening hours

Saturday morning clinics are back from 7 November, 9:00 to 14:00.

Team

Dr. Teodor Lind now sees patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.

Our approach

Good skin care starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch. So your first visit is time to talk, look and ask.

Dr. Ines Marlowe, founder

What brings you in?

Start with what bothers you, not with a treatment name

Pick a concern and we'll add it to your request. At the consultation the doctor explains the options, including the option of doing nothing.

Not on the list? Choose “Something else” and tell us at the visit.

Treatments

Four ways we can help

Each one starts with a 45-minute consultation with a doctor. You'll find prices further down; your own plan and its cost are agreed in person, before anything begins.

  1. 01

    Medical dermatology

    • Skin checks
    • Moles
    • Acne
    • Rosacea
    • Eczema

Diagnosis and care for skin conditions: a mole that has changed, acne that won't settle, redness that keeps coming back. We prescribe where it helps and refer you on when you need a test or another specialist.

  2. 02

    Laser & light

    • Pigmentation
    • Thread veins
    • Hair reduction
    • Resurfacing

Lasers and an IPL system for sun spots, visible veins, unwanted hair and uneven texture. We check your skin type first and do a patch test before any course starts.

  3. 03

    Injectables

    • Anti-wrinkle injections
    • Dermal filler
    • Skin boosters

Prescription treatments and fillers, given only by a doctor or a nurse prescriber. We explain what each one can and can't do, the risks and the aftercare, and we're glad if you go home to think it over.

  4. 04

    Skin treatments

    • Chemical peels
    • Microneedling
    • Medical facials

Peels, microneedling and facials planned around your skin rather than a set menu. Our skin therapists carry them out, with a doctor in the building.

Why Selune

What you can expect from us

Three things we hold ourselves to at every visit, whatever you came in for.

  1. A doctor at every first visit

Your first appointment is always with one of our doctors, never with a sales adviser. They look at your skin properly, in good light and under a dermatoscope when needed.

  2. Time to ask everything

First consultations last 45 minutes. You leave with a written plan to read at home: the options, what each one involves, and the price.

  3. No treatment you don't need

Sometimes the right advice is a cream, a change of routine, or nothing at all. If that's the case, we'll say so, and the consultation is all you pay for.

Team

The people you'll meet

Two dermatologists, a nurse prescriber and a skin therapist. It's a small team on purpose: you'll see the same faces at every visit.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they book

Can't find yours? Call (555) 014-2290 and the front desk will help, or ask at your consultation.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly. If your own doctor has written to us, bring the letter along or mention it when we call you back.

What happens at the first consultation?

A doctor asks what bothers you, looks at your skin and talks you through the options, including doing nothing. You go home with a written plan and the prices. There's no treatment on the day unless it's a simple skin check.

How much does a consultation cost?

$120 for 45 minutes with a doctor, $60 for a 20-minute video consultation. If you decide not to have treatment, that's all you pay.

Do you offer video consultations?

Yes, for first questions and follow-ups. Skin checks and any treatment need an in-person visit, because we have to see your skin in good light.

Is there an age limit?

Cosmetic treatments are for adults (18+). Dermatology appointments and skin checks are open to all ages; under-16s come with a parent or guardian.

Can I move or cancel my appointment?

Yes. Let us know at least 24 hours ahead and there's no charge. Reply to your confirmation email or call the front desk.
